Web 2.0 ‘neglecting good design’

Usability expert Jakob Nielsen says that Web 2.0 is “neglecting good design” and the fundamentals of good web design. You could end up with sites that look shiny and new, but that lack the basics that users need.

“For them the web is not a goal in itself. It is a tool,” said Mr. Neilsen.
