Partnering Direct Marketing and Mobile Marketing

Because of the wide variety of mobile devices and capabilities, it is incredibly difficult to create comprehensive marketing campaigns. Rather than using mobile marketing as a push marketing tactic, mobile can be used as a highly effective pull mechanism when combined with direct marketing.
Ideas for integration:
- Advertise your mobile site on direct mail pieces or in direct email blasts
- Encourage customers to send an SMS message to a specific code in order to enter a contest or request additional information about a program
