Getting More Mileage from Email Statistics?

You know it’s important to measure your email statistics, but are you really getting the most information from them that you can? According to Getting More Mileage from E-Mail Metrics by eMarketer, less than 20% of marketers participating in a survey measured annual results of their email marketing. 50% look at results within the first 24-48 hours after the mailing was deployed.

That means that you’re missing valuable information. Many subscribers may save a message for later - after skimming the subject line they know they want to take action. Many sources say it takes up to 2 weeks for an email campaign to be considered “dead.”
