E-Mail Service Provider Combats Security Breach
November 27, 2007 – 3:36 pmConvio, an email service provider for non-profits distributing newsletters and donation requests, recently discovered unauthorized access to their system. Most of the data was limited to email addresses, although partial credit card numbers of about a dozen donors to the University of Connecticut Foundation were also accessed. Also affected were files belonging to the American Museum of Natural History.
