6 Components of an Online Marketing Stack - How Do You Stack Up?

Scott Brinker from No More Landing Pages! has created an interesting visual model for how different online marketing components, analytics programs and CRM systems work together to create an integrated system. The 6 components are:

  1. Advertising/SEM Management
  2. Email Marketing Management
  3. Landing Experience Management
  4. Web Site Management
  5. Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  6. Web Analytics

While Scott’s model is very good, its also very idealistic. My theory is that very few large companies have such a streamlined system, especially when they’re working with multiple products from multiple vendors. Its definitely somewhere that we could each work toward.
